Comparative Analysis of Complete Chloroplast Genome and Phenotypic Characteristics of Japanese Apricot Accessions

Japanese apricot (Prunus mume Sieb. et Zucc.) is among the most valued fruits and flowering plants in eastern Asia. However, few comparative studies have been conducted with respect to its agro-morphological pomological traits, chloroplast (cp) genome sequences plastid diversity. Therefore, a study was, investigate divergence geographic distribution of ten accessions from three Chinese provinces (Zhejiang, Jiangsu Sichuan). Phenotypic characteristics evaluated accessions, such as leaf length, tip flower diameter, anther number, fruit weight, longitudinal height, transversal lateral stone heigh, titratable acid content total soluble solids, varied significantly (p < 0.05) investigated accessions. Furthermore, all Zhejiang simple sequence repeats. Similarly, nucleotide deletion/insertion ycf1 results phylogenetic trees mainly clustered according their origin. Our agronomical composition, structure, variability cp phylogeography provides valuable information on diversity distribution.
